Built-in mind map starting points
Overview
Four built-in templates provide starting points for common mind map use cases. Select a template from the toolbar to load pre-written markdown that you can immediately customize.
Project Planning
Structure includes: Overview, Goals (short-term and long-term), Team roles, Risk Assessment, and Meeting Notes. Uses the --- separator to divide sections. Good for project kickoffs, sprint planning, and team alignment.
Reading Notes
Structure includes: Book title, Key Takeaways, Chapter Summaries, Questions, and Action Items. Good for book reviews, study sessions, and academic note-taking.
Tech Architecture
Structure includes: System overview, Components (frontend, backend, database), API Design, Data Flow, and Deployment. Uses{#color:blue}, {#color:green}, {#color:orange} color tags to visually distinguish subsystems. Good for system design docs, architecture reviews, and onboarding materials.
Personal Planning
Structure includes: Goals across career, health, learning, and finance; Habits tracking; Timeline; and Resources. Uses color tags to categorize different life areas. Good for quarterly planning, life reviews, and habit tracking.
Using Templates
Select a template from the toolbar menu. The editor loads the template markdown. Customize by replacing placeholder text, adding or removing branches, and applying color tags or annotations. Your changes are autosaved to local storage.
